Who We Are
TRAC is a regional partnership between arts organizations, educational institutions, artists and civic and business leaders in order to promote the arts and cultural heritage of west-central Illinois.
Serves the 159,000 residents of Brown, Calhoun, Cass, Fulton, Greene, Hancock, Henderson, Jersey, Mason, McDonough, Pike, Schuyler and Scott counties, an area of 6,600+ square miles
Publishes Tales From Two Rivers, the award winning series of collected short stories written by Illinois senior citizens
Is a registered Illinois not-for-profit corporation with membership open to everyone
Partners with the Illinois Arts Council (with support from the National Endowment for the Arts) to provide funds that encourage and support the arts throughout our service area

Tales from Two Rivers is an award-winning series of books devoted to the sharing of experiences by older residents of Illinois. The stories contained in Tales from Two Rivers I, II, III, IV, V, VI and VII were selected from manuscripts submitted by Illinois authors over sixty years of age. This documentation of social history was sponsored and published by TRAC with Dr. John E. Hallwas serving as editor. It was partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council and the Illinois Humanities Council.
