Illinois Art Council’s Jerome Grand joined Two Rivers Arts Council board members, area artists and representatives of arts organizations throughout west-central IL this summer to talk about changes in the IAC’s grant programs.
Who We Are
TRAC is a regional partnership between arts organizations, educational institutions, artists and civic and business leaders in order to promote the arts and cultural heritage of west-central Illinois.
Serves the 159,000 residents of Brown, Calhoun, Cass, Fulton, Greene, Hancock, Henderson, Jersey, Mason, McDonough, Pike, Schuyler and Scott counties, an area of 6,600+ square miles
Publishes Tales From Two Rivers, the award winning series of collected short stories written by Illinois senior citizens
Is a registered Illinois not-for-profit corporation with membership open to everyone
Partners with the Illinois Arts Council (with support from the National Endowment for the Arts) to provide funds that encourage and support the arts throughout our service area
Two Rivers Arts Council is a proud recipient of two grants from the Illinois Arts Council. Our outreach is aided by an Operating Grant and a Regional Arts Partner grant.

We are proud to announce that FOR THE FIRST TIME Two Rivers Arts Council was able to award a grant in all 13 counties in our region in one grant cycle!

Pandora’s Playhouse’s summer youth theater educates and engages children in becoming actors, artists and, in 2024, even directors! Pandora's Playhouse was formed in 1975, to provide Rushville and the surrounding area with plays, musicals, and quality arts programming.

Tales from Two Rivers is an award-winning series of books devoted to the sharing of experiences by older residents of Illinois. The stories contained in Tales from Two Rivers I, II, III, IV, V, VI and VII were selected from manuscripts submitted by Illinois authors over sixty years of age. This documentation of social history was sponsored and published by TRAC with Dr. John E. Hallwas serving as editor. It was partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council and the Illinois Humanities Council.
